One day our son Jack came home with a handful of football trading cards a friend had given to him at school. It became an obsession. But, so many of the cards have players he was entirely unfamiliar with.

While his dad’s vast knowledge of football players has greatly aided Jack’s love of football cards, we thought it would be a great opportunity for Jack to learn to research players and learn about them on his own.

However, the internet can be a scary place. Google anyone and you’re at risk of finding articles and information un-friendly to children. So, we set out to create a safe place for Jack to learn about football players — but not just their stats.

We also wanted him to learn about their childhood, hardwork, resillience, training tips, what good they’ve done for the community, and inspiring things they’ve said in interviews.

So, welcome to Jack’s Legend Lab, where we’re learning about Legends and unlocking the Legend within our kids.
